Pastor Joe
was born and raised in Dayton,Ohio. He came to New Hope Community Church in July of 1997after spending 20 years
working as a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the Miamisburg community. After completing a ministerial studies
distance learning program, he served as the Pastor of Evangelism and Discipleship from January 2001 until
September 2004, when he assumed the position of Senior Teaching Pastor. He is married to Jeri (Patrick), his wife of
28 years and they have two married daughters - Kristen Wesche and Jayma DuChene, and a cute little Dachsund
named Gretel. He is a graduate of Dayton Christian High School, the Cicninnati College of Mortuary Science,
the Church Leadership Academy of the C&MA and the United Christian Faith Bible Institute. He earned his Bachelor
of Arts in Religious Studies from the Interfaith School of Theology, a Master of Arts in Theology from St. Luke Evangelical
School of Biblical Studies, an additional earned Masters Degree in Sacred Historical Theology from the Universal
School of Theology, and he also earned his Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from St.Luke Evangelical School of Biblical Studies.
He is a level II Biblical Counselor, being certified by the American Association of Christian Counselors. His
heart is aimed at teaching "Kingdom Principals" that will disciple Christian Believers everywhere into a more productive life
of faith in Jesus Christ. Joe also presents professional continuing education seminars to licensed social workers, counselors,
marriage & family therapists and funeral directors throughout Ohio and the entire midwest region.
