The purpose of this course is not to teach you all about mathematics. Instead, this course serves a two-fold purpose. First it is to evaluate the knowledge you already have in this field of study. It also teaches you how to do research information regarding mathematic problems. Please feel free to research the answers you will give for the questions on the examination. You must answer 7 of the 10 questions correctly to pass the course. When you complete your chosen certificate program, the grade you achieve will appear on your final transcript, thus qualifying an actual earned grade in this area of study.
