TED BAXENDALE
Our good friend, and fellow instructor for the Thomas Bilney Theological Seminary went home to be with the Lord on May
25, 2008. He was survived by his wife Jan, and their two daughters, Ali and Abi.
Ted was a "teacher's teacher" who loved God's Word and thoroughly enjoyed investing himself in others. He was gifted
in communicating the Word of God with a unique enthusiasm and precision that was obvious to all who studied under his
teaching.
Ted co-taught the first certificate program in theological studies that the Thomas Bilney Theological Seminary presented
in October 2007. He wrote and taught course CSS103 Canonical Survey, as well as Course CSS107 God's Eternal Purpose.
Ted was the very first recipient of the Doctor of Divintiy degree from the Thomas Bilney Theological Seminary in recognition
of his participation in the original conceptualization of the seminary's Biblical studies courses and the previously mention
certificate program in theological studies. He was scheduled to co-teach the upcoming certificate program in apologetics in
June of 2008.
In the midst of our sorrow we extend our sympathy to his family. We will miss his presence in our faculty and student
body. We also choose to rejoice, knowing that he is now where we all long to be - with Jesus !
