For twenty five years Joe Getts worked full time in the funeral industry, being fully licensed as a funeral director and embalmer for more than twenty of those years. He owned and operated three different funeral homes for a period of twenty two years during his career. Since his initial ordination in 1991, he has ministered at over three hundred funerals. In 1999 he became affiliated with the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. Joe is a graduate of the Church Leadership Academy and has earned a Master of Arts in Theology and a Ph.D. in  Biblical Studies both from St. Luke Evangelical School of Biblical Studies. He is also a certified pastoral counselor. He has been married to his wife Jeri for over thirty years.  Joe and his family reside in Montgomery County, Ohio
