Author, educator, funeral director and ordained minister, Joe Getts yields an experienced and professional approach to understanding the needs of those suffering through the grief and loss of a loved one. Joe brings the knowledge of over a quarter century of funeral directing in southwest Ohio and over a decade of active Christian ministry into the service of every family that calls our firm. In addition to being fully licensed as a funeral director and embalmer, he also serves as the senior pastor at the New Hope Community Church in Miamisburg, Ohio. Joe is a graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, the Church Leadership Academy, the American Association of Christian Counselors Center for Biblical Counseling and the Interfaith School of Theology. He has earned a Master of Arts in Theology and a Doctor of Ministry degree both from St. Luke Evangelical School of Biblical Studies, He is also a certified pastoral counselor specializing in post-loss care. He and his wife of 29 years, Jeri , reside in Miamisburg.
