Are you desiring ministerial licensing only with CCM? qyes qno
Receiving a license to become an independent preacher
or minister with Covenant Community Ministries of Dayton, Ohio enables you to carry out common Christian ministerial practices
in accordance with various organizational requirements. A ministerial or preacher’s license is typically used more in
chaplaincy, prison, evangelistic, or para-church ministry situations. Such license is available through CCM by mail. Licensing
is considered to be one of “independent status”. CCM exercises no requirements on liturgical practices or worship
styles. CCM takes no responsibility for content, communications or actions of their licensed preachers/ministers. Covenant
Community Ministries has the right to revoke at will the license of any CCM preacher/minister for the following reasons: 1).
If the candidate teaches contrary to the deity of Jesus Christ and His exclusive redemptive act of salvation accomplished
by His death, burial and resurrection. 2). If the candidate is convicted of a felony after being licensed by CCM. 3). If the candidate is an admitted or proven practicing homosexual after being licensed by CCM. 4). If the candidate participates in the use of illegal drugs, contraband, commits adultery and/or fornication,
is immoral or uses pornographic materials, being non-repentant for such actions.
Are you also desiring ordination with CCM? qyes qno
Ordination is bestowed upon the candidate in person
by the laying on of hands of the Covenant Community Ministries presbyters. Ordination is highly recommended for those involved
in pastoral roles in local churches, for those who will be conducting such services as baptisms, confirmations, marriages
and funerals. Ordination usually carries more legal status than does licensing for local governing bodies. Candidates may
come on a schedule date to our ministry center in Miamisburg, Ohio to receive ordination, or they may have the CCM presbyters
come to their location. (All expenses for such a trip must be paid by the Candidate) Ordination is considered to be one of
“independent status”. CCM exercises no requirements on liturgical practices or worship styles. CCM takes no responsibility
for content, communications or actions of their ordained ministers. Covenant Community Ministries has the right to revoke
at will the ordination of any ordained minister for the following reasons: 1). If the candidate teaches contrary to the deity
of Jesus Christ and His exclusive redemptive act of salvation accomplished by His death, burial and resurrection. 2). If the
candidate is convicted of a felony after being ordained by CCM. 3). If the candidate
is an admitted or proven practicing homosexual after being ordained by CCM. 4).
If the candidate participates in the use of illegal drugs, contraband, commits adultery and/or fornication, is immoral or
uses pornographic materials, being non-repentant for such actions.
I have read the above statements and agree to the standards set forth. I hereby state that the information provided
