Statement of Faith
·
We believe in one God, who
created all that is, both seen and unseen.
·
We believe in the Trinity
as the compound unification of God the Father, Jesus Christ His only begotten Son, and the Holy Spirit that dwells within
the existence of the believing Christian.
·
We believe the Holy Bible,
consisting of 39 Old Testament books and 27 New Testament books, is inspired by God in its original text, that it is inerrant
beyond the comprehension of the human mind, and that it is complete for Christian living.
·
We believe that Jesus Christ
was born of the virgin Mary; that He lived a faultless sinless life; that he performed many miracles, that He died physically
and was buried; and that He was bodily resurrected from the dead by the power
of God; and that He ascended to heaven and continues to live and intercede on our behalf.
·
We believe that salvation
for the sinful state of humanity is only obtained through the conscious choice of a person to accept by faith the grace of
God that was made a reality in the saving and atoning act of Jesus Christ in His death, burial and bodily resurrection from
the dead.
·
We believe that the life
of a believing Christian should honor God morally, ethically and in all manners of spiritual disciplines that exemplify a
life of consistent prayer, worship and Bible study.
·
We believe in an eternal
life to follow this mortal existence, which shall be permanently lived in either heaven, a place of the full and uninterrupted
presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, or in hell, a place of eternal and complete separation from God’s presence.
· We believe that at some point in the future history
of this world, Jesus Christ will return in bodily form to be united with the true existing Christian church and to establish
his ultimate authority amongst all the inhabitants of the world.
